In September and October 2018, a group of "opinionated Australians" travel to "some of the most dangerous places on earth". I was one of those people. The show was called Go Back To Where You Came From Live and was broadcast on SBS on October 2, 3 and 4.
Minister For Men
Minister For Men was created by Kacie Anning and co-written by Gretel Killeen. Commissioned by the Festival of Dangerous Ideas at the Sydney Opera House the Minister For Men series was a viral hit as it satirized the parlous state of the representation of women’s rights by the then Australian Government.
How Not to Behave
Gretel Killeen and Matt Okine were the co-hosts of How Not To Behave, a 13 part TV series first broadcast in Australia on the national broadcaster, the ABC.
Big Brother
For seven years Gretel Killeen was the host and a co-writer of Australia’s nation-shaking series and Logie Award winning Big Brother, for which she was also the recipient of a Mo Award.
UNICEF GOODWILL AMBASSADOR
While a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Gretel wrote and directed CSA's for unexploded ordnance in Laos & poverty awareness in Bangladesh. In 2007 Gretel travelled to Zambia to write direct and produce a documentary on AIDS orphans for UNICEF. The documentary was aired nationally on Network 10.
