Gretel has written for many of Australia’s leading newspapers and magazines. She was a regular columnist The Sydney Moring Herald and currently contributes to the Saturday Telegraph. Gretel writes social and political pieces and humorous short stories, and has written travel pieces from Lebanon, Namibia and Antarctica. For two years Gretel was also a columnist for The Australian newspapers magazine and many of these columns were collated in the best selling anthology Visible Panty Line.
